About the Event
Possum’s Store is pleased to welcome back the Robert Jospe Trio. This all star trio features Justin Nelson on piano and sax, Paul Langosh on bass and Robert Jospe, drums and percussion.
The trio will be presenting, for the first time, new work that evolved from a recent collaboration with Justin, Paul and Robert.
Robert Jospe , drummer, band leader, educator and composers is know for his inventive use of rhythmic styles incorporating jazz, blues, funk, latin and African rhythms into a unique and distinctive style of contemporary drumming.
Paul Langosh, renowned bassist, toured with Toney Bennett for 20 years and played with other jazz greats such as Phil Woods, Herb Ellis, Mel Torme and Rosemary Clooney.
Justin Nelson, piano and sax, learned from great musicians such as Chic Corea, Rufas Reid and Bill Kennedy. He has performed in Paris and Prague and will be returning to Possum’s Store for the second time
